Kenneth McDermott is a Senior Banker within the Financial Institutions Group of Societe Generale’s Coverage and Investment Banking division. He is responsible for covering the largest US banks, key US affiliates of other Societe Generale global bank clients, and US based specialty finance companies.
Prior to joining Societe Generale, Ken ran his own consulting and structured finance business. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Finance (CFO), Risk and Research for Asset Management Finance Corporation (AMF), where he successfully led managements’ efforts in the sale of the company in 2008. Prior to AMF, Ken led the structured credit and financing businesses targeting financial institutions at Citigroup. He also led certain business development activities at GE Capital.
Ken is a graduate of Binghamton University, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting.
